Tokyo Marble Chocolate
Have you seen this two parter OVA from Production IG? After a round of Psychic Detective Yakumo and Bakuman, I wanted to end the night on a better note. I’ve had Tokyo Marble Chocolate lying around for a while, but I never got around to really watching it till now. The synopsis on Wikipedia made me think it’d be a cute little story about a young romance, but the end result was anything but uplifting.

Just to change things up a bit, I take a look at an anime from the 80s. We open with a young man feeling his way through a cave. He eventually stumbles upon a maiden in the darkness.
Denpa Teki na Kanojo
An adaptation of a light novel (itself an adaptation of an award-winning short story), Denpa Teki na Kanojo is a fatty little bite of entertainment, low in flavor and with little or no nutritional value. However there’s still some satisfaction in this OVA for those willing to dig for it (if you plan on watching the show you should do so before reading further).
