I really try to do a first impressions post for almost every new show that airs, but this one is straight up painful to watch. First, the setup takes far too much time. The protagonist painstakingly explains the nature of eroges in general before finally detailing the specific eroge he has been isekai’d into. Like usual, nobody ever cares about the life they just lost. They wholeheartedly embrace their new life as if they never had loved ones (they probably never did).
After roughly eleven torturous minutes, we finally meet a new character, a voluptuous woman who is nevertheless a distant relative and thus wants to adopt the recently orphaned MC. Ah yes, two fetishes in one: quasi-incest and an older woman. Too old? Well, she has a daughter who insists on the MC calling her oneechan.
You get the usual bullshit like, “Oh, I’m not the main character; I was reborn as the sidekick!” But he’s just going to get all the girls anyway. Oh yeah, he’ll probably become the strongest too. So, like, what’s even the point? Why set all that up just to become the main character anyway? What does this conceit earn us except valuable time wasted on pointless exposition?
Sidekick or not, he still has to rescue a waifu, so of course, an event occurs in which a bunch of men have a rich girl and her maid cornered. You might have noticed how I’m not using any of their given names, and that’s because I have not reached a point in which I’ve started giving two shits about these characters. Anyway, the MC is obviously going to intervene. The question, however, is when. Does he do it when the maid gets stabbed in the back and through her torso? No. Does he do it when the bad guy steps on the maid’s now gaping torso, which means she could potentially bleed out and die? No. The MC only steps in, however, when the bad guy threatens to — you guessed it! — rape the rich girl. Ah yes, the biggest crime of all: stealing your waifu’s virginity. Fucking hell.
After that, the second episode became a blur. After all, it was just a mishmash of various harem tropes, e.g., the MC “accidentally” groping the girls he just saved, him walking in on his “oneechan” in the bath, his new “mother” seeing his dong swaying in the wind, him stumbling on the maid’s erotic underwear, and so on and so forth. Ho hum. Yup, this is trash. On the other hand, it is truly worthy of an isekai hate watch. There’s also something rather obnoxious about the MC’s character design.

Oh yeah, isn’t this just straight up Carbuncle from Final Fantasy?
