No, Ruche, you should be very afraid of a game with lots of bugs.
As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Season Ep. 26

So why is this war happening? Well, one of the bad guys has heard about Ars’s talents, so he wants the kid for himself. That’s basically it. Bunch of people are going to die over something so petty. Back with our heroes, we get the usual chatter like “Oh, they have much bigger numbers, what’ll we do” followed by “They have poor morale, so we just gotta break their spirits!” Everyone wants to be the underdog. Everyone wants their overcome-all-odds defense story.
We also check in on the new recruits. The bounty hunter guy who didn’t want to join in the first place is having issues getting acclimated to his new captain. He relents, however, when he sees the kid talking about his family in his sleep. Aww, Zat has a soft spot after all.
Meanwhile, Musia, the clumsy, scaredy-cat of a mage, receives a letter from home in which her mother tries to persuade her to quit the war effort. After all, Musia’s pretty enough to get a husband! She should just leave the fighting to the men! Sheesh, thanks mom. I mean, I’ll hate on this show for being a pretty generic isekai, but we do have plenty of women in important positions on the warfront like Charlotte and Mirelle. Not very many of them are serving as faceless footsoldiers, though. No, those are still just mostly men.
Anyway, Musia has that standard cliche talk with Charlotte where she asks if the latter is not scared like her. Charlotte then admits she’s scared, but for a different reason, blah blah blah. It’s always the same boring talk. During the actual battle, Musia almost loses her nerve until, again, Charlotte gives her a pep talk. The cowardly mage then does that thing that all fictional warrior girls do: cut their hair perfectly with one stroke of the knife. Oooh, I’ve got short hair, so now I’m fierce~! Musia proceeds to cast her spell which turns the tide of the battle. Haha, sure.

Reincarnated as a Sword S2 Ep. 2

The whole time I was watching this episode, I kept wondering if Jean would betray our duo. I guess I’ve become a cynical old man. It didn’t help when Stephan showed up. Who’s Stephan? Just some spirit that Jean left behind. It ends up possessing the body of that poor slave kid whose memories we’ve been seeing. Stephan reunites with his master Jean — and he’s quite enamored with the guy — then helps the party descend deeper into the dungeon full of the undead. But at some point, Stephan suddenly departs on what both he and Jean call a “secret mission” — a contingency plan, the latter adds. Suspicious… but this could also be what the story wants you to think. After all, necromancers aren’t usually do-gooders in fiction. So yeah, I still dunno what to make of Jean. If he ends up being a pal after all, it would be nice to have a new face permanently join the party.
Anyway, they beat some badass undead female warrior, then they encounter that skeleton knight on the bottom ninth floor. That can’t be it, right? There’s gotta be an even bigger, scarier baddie at the lowest levels, right? Sorry, but knights aren’t usually final bosses.

The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System Ep. 15

Does Elymas undergo any bit of character development in this week’s episode? No, not really. He didn’t realize that the Dreamlord could evolve, I guess. Does that count? Meh. What about clown waifu? Does she get any character development? Uh… she put points into a new skill?
Like always, this show is just about dungeoning, dungeoning, and more dungeoning. The duo got their loot and probably should’ve just taken the slow way home. Instead, Elymas suggests taking out the dungeon boss, because it should be easy with Ruche’s new skill. And at first, she took the massive centipede monster down relatively quickly. They even got their EXP and subsequent level ups. The show had me fooled. I was thinking, “Great, we can get back to town and maybe learn more about each other or recruit more party members!” But no, the boss evolves, so now they’re in peril again~! “Clown waifu… we have only one chance at this! Do you believe in me!” Ugh, it’s just the same shit over and over again. I used my Praetorium cutscene time to watch this episode, and this is all I get!
A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season Ep. 14

It’s a rather exposition-laden episode. Sei goes to speak with that elf guy, so he finally learns that all the heroes were behaving strangely on that fateful day, as if they were being controlled by the goddess. Only one of them didn’t turn against Lufas. So wait, Sei can openly doubt the goddess because he was summoned from Earth, right, So does that mean Benetnasch is a normal person too? Bah, I don’t care that much, actually.
Then some more exposition on why everyone’s levels are so low. It’s not that humanity has declined! Rather, Lufas was the anomaly, and his (her?) golden apples are the only way to reach higher levels. Shrug, okay.
Finally, we return to the conflict against the scorpion lady. She’s just hella yandere, so she wants to pull a Cathy Bates on Lufas. At the end, everyone concludes that she’s also being controlled or manipulated by the goddess. We then get another pointless anime cliffhanger. Still a pretty middling show in my opinion.
