I didn’t really blink when we learned a couple episodes ago that the twins were spiritually attuned or some shit. I didn’t expect a goddamn transformation sequence though and certainly not jumping across rooftops like Mighty Mouse.
“Marvelous.” Moving on… to be honest, not much happened this episode: some crappy action that doesn’t belong in a comedy and Mizuno gets to join the long and proud heritage of anime girls looking scared. No doubt she’s delighting creepy fans all across the world.
Mikuru and Mio would be proud. Hm. Mikuru. Mio. Mizuno. Oh whatever. I always thought it would be a cold day in hell when Kampfer was more interesting than Nyan Koi.
I think I enjoyed this week’s Kampfer more than Nyan Koi–no, seriously. Granted, that doesn’t say a whole lot, but despite all the fanservice in Kampfer, at least something’s churning in the shadows. Nothing’s really changed in Nyan Koi since it started, but it seems to be ending soon. Oh, I’m sure the feeling will pass. Maybe I was just really intrigued by this preview at the end of the episode, whatever it is:
I think I’m going to go check it out right now. But back to Kampfer, if they continue to subvert Sakura’s character, I dunno… there’s some potential in that, but then again–since everyone outside of her and Shizuku are dumb as bricks–probably not.
Moe Sucks 
Surprisingly, the latest Kamfper episode has been praised unusually often this week. It’s hard to believe that a series can change dramatically after it runs past its mid point. Um…may be I shouldn’t have dropped it.
That’s only because this episode had some semblance of plot. Typically, Sakura plays the innocent yet clueless love interest (see: Nyan Koi’s Mizuno), but they have really turned her character upside down.
I wouldn’t have expected Kampfer to start escalating its plot yet. I mean they did it in the middle of what’s usually an entirely pointless fanservice situation.
Watch the twins get their own spinoff series.

Just dropped both series, that was just uggh. I mean, Nyan Koi was like OK until it became a big, nasty harem, about Kampfer – It just couldn’t get any worse.

Just an ad at the end of episode. I hadn’t heard of it before so I thought it was going to be some new anime. Whoops, turns out there are five movies out for it already.
Lol. You mirrored my thoughts exactly upon watching these two series. I mean, why can’t I have a “guy-who-gets-cursed-to-become-a-catgirl?” Why can’t I?!

I’m sticking to Nyan Koi because it has made me laughed for the past 8 or 9 episodes: the execution of its jokes are better than Kämpfer. It did not help that everyone now commented that Sakura has the Bible Black eyes now. [/me shivers] The yin to the yang, I suppose.
